A deputy village head (Upsarpanch) was beaten to death allegedly by some persons over old rivalry in Dausa district.
Bhuralal Mahavar of Bilona Kalan village was beaten yesterday in Mandawar town, police said, adding that he succumbed to injuries late last night at a hospital.
A case has been registered and the accused will soon be arrested, Mandawar police station in-charge Brijmohan said.
