Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today arrested a deputy tahsildar for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 50,000.
B Ramesh Subash Chander, deputy tahslidar,working in Nizamabad district of Telangana was caught by the ACB officials while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour, an ACB release said here.
The bribe amount was recovered from the deputy tahsildar and further investigations are underway, it added.
