Congress MP from Dewas and party secretary Sajjan Singh Verma hit out at the BJP's Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi by calling him a "dictator".

The Congress MP told reporters here yesterday evening that it was strange that the BJP is ignoring senior leaders like L K Advani.

Verma said that Modi suffers from a misconception that the BJP would win a large number of seats from Uttar Pradesh simply because he would contest from there.

He said BJP President Rajnath Singh behaves as if he was just a "glorified clerk" for Modi, which was not good for the BJP.

Sajjan said that this time his poll opponent was Manohar Untwal who is known to never meet anyone after six in the evening.
