ITC chairman Y C Deveshwar today praised the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal for supporting the company's projects in the state.
"We are getting a lot of assistance from the state government... Even to solve otherwise seemingly intractable problems," Deveshwar told reporters here.
The company was implementing projects like an IT arm, food processing unit, logistics parks in the state involving an investment of Rs 3,500 crore.
"There had been considerable change in the approach of the government from the past," he said.
