Devotee killed, three injured in accident

A 'kanwaria' was killed and three injured when their vehicle turned turtle on the Khatima-Panipat Highway in the district, police said today.

The accident took place last evening near Titali area when the kanwarias (devotees of Lord Shiva) were returning to Panipat in a tempo after collecting Ganga water from Haridwar.

The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Ravi, a resident of Panipat. The injured were recuperating at a district hospital, police said.
