'Digi Dhan Mela' in Ghaziabad on March 25

A 'Digi Dhan Mela' will be held here on Saturday to enhance cashless transactions in the district, officials said.

The one-day fair will be held at ITS School, Duhai, Murad Nagar.

District Magistrate Nidhi Kesarwani said banks and mobile companies will demonstrate cashless transaction modes and generate awareness.

Banks will set up stalls through which people can open accounts and learn about online banking, net banking and other such channels.

Union Minister V K Singh, MLA Atul Garg as well as BJP leaders Sanjiv Baliyan and Chetan Chauhan will grace the event.

Certificates will be given to entities which have adopted cashless transactions in a major way.
