Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray today launched a mobile application "Digi Thane" of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
Through the app, citizens can access the services provided by the TMC, Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal said.
Mayor of Israel city Tel Aviv Jaffa Ron Huldai and district guardian minister Eknath Shinde were present for the function.
Huldai said he was happy that Thane was taking assistance in all forms from his country for the developments and termed it as a good sign.
Aaditya Thackeray said he was happy that Tel Aviv came forward to impart its technology to Thane to help it transform into a smart-city.
