Dip in summer heat in Bihar

Partly cloudy sky coupled with gentle wind in the morning today lessened the summer heat in Bihar with mercury dropping across the state.

Gaya remained the hottest place in the state with maximum temperature reading 36.5 degree Celsius against 40.7 degree Celsius yesterday, state Met office said.

Patna witnessed the maximum temperature of 32.4 degree Celsius vis-a-vis 33.5 degree Celsius yesterday. There was a drop in minimum temperature too at 22.4 degree Celsius in the state capital against 22.6 degree Celsius yesterday.

In Bhagalpur, the maximum temperature was 30 degree Celsius as compared to 31.8 degree Celsius yesterday.

The condition was better in Purnea where the maximum temperature was 27 degree Celsius.
 

The state weather office forecast mainly clear sky becoming partly cloudy sky in Patna and Gaya tomorrow.

In Bhagalpur and Purnea there is possibility of rain or thundershower tomorrow.
