Discom Engineer, clerk arrested for taking bribe

A junior engineer and a clerk of an Ajmer discom were today arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 here.

Junior engineer Manish Chorasia and upper division clerk Bhanwar Lal Meghwal had demanded the bribe from Gehrilal Mali for issuing him a power connection, Additional SP of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Umesh Kumar said.

He said that after verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and the accused were arrested.
