A dismissed police constable has been booked for submitting fake documents in order to be admitted in the police department.
A case was registered against Raman Kumar yesterday under section 420 and other relevant sections of the IPC in this connection, DSP Karamvir Singh said.
Kumar had joined the police service in 2006.

Upon investigation, his documents were found to be fake, following which, he was dismissed from the job in 2007, he said.
The accused had filed a written petition in the court against his dismissal but the court did not grant him relief as he was not able to prove his innocence.
