Disney's animated film 'Frozen' headed to Broadway

Disney's animated blockbuster 'Frozen is getting a stage musical adaption on Broadway.

The film, which won the Golden Globe for being the best animated film, will be developed for the stage, Walt Disney CEO and chairman Bob Iger said in an interview to Fortune.

Iger, however, has said that they don't have a time frame in mind for the musical.

"We're not demanding speed. We're demanding excellence," Iger said.

'Frozen' has made over USD 669 million in global box office. The phenomenal success has made it the No 2 Disney Animation title of all time after 'The Lion King'.
