DMK MLAs today staged a walkout over a remark made by ruling AIADMK MLA in the Assembly.
AIADMK MLA Kanitha Sampath made a particular remark in her speech in the Assembly after DMK MLAs led by R Sakkrapani, N Ramakrishnan and others, were on their feet seeking Speaker P Dhanapal to expunge the remark made by her.
Even when the DMK MLAs were voicing in unison, Dhanapal said he would take action after going through the speech made by Sampath.
The DMK MLAs continued to voice their protest against the remark and later staged a walkout.
