Domestic help from Bengal found dead in Srinagar

A 26-year-old domestic help from West Bengal was found dead in the house of his employer here, police said today.

Arman Karkata, a resident of Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal, was found hanged in the house of his employer Hamid-ul-lah Dar in Hyderpora locality, a police spokesman said.

He said police have started investigation to ascertain the cause of the death.

"After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites," he said.
