Domestic help jumps to death from 18th floor

An 18-year-old domestic help from Bihar today allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 18th floor of a building here after her employers did not allow her to go home, the police said.

Chunmun was working at an apartment in RC Residency in Sector 120 here, they said.

No suicide note was recovered from the spot, however, initial investigation revealed that she was not allowed to go home by her employers, the police said.

It is suspected that she was depressed due to cancellation of her leave, they said.

The body has been sent for postmortem and her parents have been informed, the police said.
