Ved Yadav, who allegedly stabbed to death Kishan Kumar on Wednesday after a clash, was apprehended from his residence in Libaspur area, they said.
According to police, the incident took place when the auto in which the victim and his three friends were travelling towards Samai Pur market collided with motorcycles of Ved and his friends.
A clash broke out between the two groups, following which the accused and his friends Sandeep, Batul and Monu stabbed Kishan and fled the scene.
Efforts are on to nab other accused, police said.
