Driver, cleaner killed as truck plunges into river

A truck driver and cleaner died today after their vehicle lost balance and plunged into a river in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district, police said.

According to Hukum Chand, SHO, Misroli police station, the plumps-laden truck fell 30 feet deep into the river while crossing Silegarh over-bridge in the wee hours.

The driver and cleaner, residents of Haryna, died on the spot, he said, adding their identity is yet to be ascertained.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police added.
