Police have arrested two alleged drug peddlers at Killi Chalan village in the district and seized one kg of opium from them.
The two were coming from Ludhiana and were on their way to Churchak village on a motorcycle last night when they were stopped at a check point in the village, police said.
After the drugs were found in their possession, police arrested both the peddlers, identified as Anil Kumar and Jugraj Singh.
A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against the duo.
