Drugs worth about Rs 20 crore has been seized by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) from a passenger at the Kempegowda International Airport here.
NCB said 3.347 kg of cocaine, a hard party drug, was concealed in the checked-in luggage of a Paraguay national who arrived here by an Emirates flight.
He was arrested on August 19 and sent to judicial custody by NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Court the next day, an NCB release said.

The cocaine brought was meant for the youth and party goers of Bengaluru and nearby cities, it said.
Under the NDPS act, this quantity of cocaine is commercial quantity which attracts upto 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine and for repeated offence, it is death penalty.
