Dry weather in UP; Etawah coldest at 4.4 C

Weather was mainly dry over Uttar Pradesh even as dense fog affected normal life at many places in the state during last 24-hours.

According to the MeT department night temperatures fell markedly in Varanasi division, appreciably fell in Gorakhpur, Allahabad division, fell in Kanpur and Lucknow divisions and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.

Lowest minimum temperature was 4.4 degrees Celsius recorded at Etawah.

The MeT officials forecast that weather would be mainly dry over the state and dense to moderate fog would occur at many places.
