Dry weather prevails in Bihar

Warm, dry weather prevailed in Bihar with mercury levels in Gaya soaring once again to touch 40.6 degrees Celsius, the Met office said.

According to the MeT department, the weather remained dry in Bihar during the day.

Gaya recorded a maximum temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius followed by Bhagalpur which stood at 37.8.

The state capital, Patna, recorded a maximum of 36.6 degrees Celsius while Purnea registered 34.4 degrees Celsius.

The Met office forecast a partly cloudy sky with the possibilities of rain, thunderstorm and dust storm over the next 48 hours.
