A DTC employee died after he ws hit by a low-floor bus of the Corporation in Rajghat area, police said today.
Ashraf Ansari,22, who was on duty at a CNG pump of DTC, was hit by a low-floor bus yesterday. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead, said a senior police officer.
The driver of the DTC bus, plying between Hasanpur and Anand Vihar, was arrested by the police after he was caught by those present on the spot.
A case has been registered against the accused driver Sandip Kumar at Daryaganj police station, the officer said.
