A family of ten lucky ducks in Canada were rescued from the middle of a road by a helpful cab driver who scooped them up, dropped them on the back seat and gave them free ride to a river.
Taxi driver, Urga Adunga, while on his normal day at work, found a duck and nine ducklings stranded in traffic and knew that there was no way for them to escape from the road.
He turned on his hazard lights and stopped on a Calgary street. He got out and - helped by other drivers who also stopped - he began herding the duck family.

"The other people, they are very nice people, and they stopped and they helped me get the nine ducklings. One of the people who helped me was a mother, and she had a backpack for the baby and she tried to put them in there, but we couldn't do it. So I told them to put them for me in the car," he was quoted as saying to CBC news.
"I didn't want to pass them because there is no way for them to escape from the road. It was amazing and I was happy to serve them," he said.
With a cab full of feathered passengers, he drove the ducks to the Bow River. It is a cab ride he estimates to be worth about 21 dollars, but of course, it was a free ride.
