Dwayne Johnson buys his father a car

Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson has taken to Instagram to reveal he bought his father Rocky a car for Christmas.

The 44-year-old star said he bought the gift for his father as a thank you for all his love and support.

Captioning a picture of the pair of them standing by the luxury vehicle, he wrote: "Bought my dad a Christmas gift and surprised him. He's had a hard life. This one felt good. My dad, Rocky Johnson is a minimalist.

"Always has been. Never asks me for much and over the years his needs are always the barest ... Just a small way of saying thank you dad and Merry Christmas! #DwantaClaus (sic).
