e-court fee system introduced by Madras High Court

The Madras has introduced system, through which advocates and the litigant public can pay court online.

The facility, which will commence from April 20, is an advocate/litigant centric initiative of the government through their central record keeping agency - Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd.

As per the notification issued by the registry, the service will be initially provided for the principal bench and bench of the

"system is a computer-based application which provides easier and secured way of paying judicial stamp duty to the government. It helps to tackle counterfeiting. The user-manual for generating Fee is made available in the high court?s official website. can be made through the website of Central Record Keeping," the notification said.
