Earth caves in, 3 girls buried alive

Three girls were killed and eight injured when a huge mound of earth caved in in Uttar Pradesh's Agra district today, police said.

The incident happened when the victims were digging soil in Nagla Dhahar village in Kagraul area, they said.

Three girls, aged between 10 and 12, were buried alive and eight suffered injuries, police said.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
