Ed Sullivan statue recovered

Police in California have recovered a statue of late TV legend Ed Sullivan after it was stolen from an outdoor exhibition in Los Angeles.

Cops were called in after the solid bronze artwork, worth around USD 45,000, was swiped from outside the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences headquarters in North Hollywood on September 28, reported CNN online.

The statue was recovered on Thursday and is believed to be in good condition.

Police are continuing their appeal for information to help them catch the thieves.
