Refined palmolein softened at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following subdued demand from retailers.
Elsewhere, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also marginally down due to poor offtake from soaps and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein edged down by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 602 from Friday's close Rs 605 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 980 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold moved down by Rs 5 per 100 kg to Rs 3,925 as against Rs 3,930 yesterday, and castoroil commercial inched down by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 815.
Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 1,050 per 10 kg.
