Groundnut oil prices rebounded at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to fresh demand from stockist and retailers.
Refined palmolein also gained on renewed retail offtake.
Linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any buying support.
Meanwhile, in non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial slipped following lack of demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
In the edible-segment, groundnut oil climbed by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 735 from overnight level of Rs 730 and refined palmolein moved up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 552 as against Rs 550 yesterday.
Moving to non edible segment,castorseeds bold declined by Rs 40 per 100kg to Rs 3,935 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 3,975 and castoroil commercial fell by Rs 8 per 10kg to Rs 817 from Rs 825.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 735 per 10kg.
