Education key to overall development: J-K assembly Speaker

Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Speaker Mubarak Gul today underscored the need for imparting quality and job oriented education to the students and said that education is the key to overall development of the state.

"There is need for imparting quality and job oriented education to the students with focus on moral education", Gul said while addressing at the annual day function of SOS Hermanng Meiner School here.

He said that in modern era where students have to face different competitive challenges, there is a need to bring excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities.

Students of Jammu and Kashmir are talented and there is a need to mould the talent in a proper manner, Gul said.
