Eight arrested for sending saris to TN CM, Speaker

Eight persons were arrested today for sending saris to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palaniswami and Assembly Speker P Dhanapal, police said today.

They had sent the saris recently protesting against the non-convening of the assembly to prove the majority of the government.

Cases would be registered against them for "insulting" the Chief Minister and the Speaker, police said.
