Eight people have been injured in a clash between two groups at Husainpur village here, police said today.
The incident, which took place yesterday was triggered allegedly by a minor fight between two children over some petty issue.
The incident further led to a confrontation between the two groups, with people from the two sides resorting to use of lathis and firearms, police said.
The injured have been shifted to a hospital and security has been tightened in the area after the incident.
