Eight persons were injured when two groups clashed over applying colours during the Holi festival, police said today.
The injured were rushed to the hospital, they said, adding, eight persons have been arrested and forces have been deployed to maintain peace and harmony in the village.
Both groups have registered FIR against each other.
While Pawan Balmiki from one group registered an FIR against 100 people for beating them with bricks and lathi, Pooran registered an FIR against 25 people for assaulting and brickbatting his group members on Holi, they said.
