Eight killed in road accident in Jharkhand

Eight persons were killed and several others injured when two mini-buses collided head-on in West Singhbhum district today, a police official said.

The accident occured on Hatgamariah-Jhainkpani road in West Singhbhum, Superintendent of Police Michael Raj said.

The injured persons have been shifted to nearby hospitals.

A police team has been rushed to the spot to remove the bodies and further details are awaited, the SP said.
