Eight suspected robbers were arrested
from separate locations here after looted items were seized from their possession.
Five persons were arrested near Ajaibpur railway station last night, police said today.
The accused allegedly robbed Surinder of his motorcycle and Rs 9,000 cash at gunpoint in Dadri area yesterday and were attempting to escape when the police team caught hold of them.
The motorcycle and cash was seized from their possession, police said, adding the accused have admitted their involvement in over a dozen robbery cases in the NCR.
Meanwhile, sector 58 police arrested three robbers and recovered a mobile phone and Rs 10,000 cash from them.
The trio was arrested from Kanavni area last night, they said.
