Eight-year-old girl injured

when a loose electrical panel fell on her today in Sector 71 here.

The girl and two other children were returning from school to their homes in Janta Flat when her bag accidentally hit the panel, which gave way, police said.

While she suffered a fracture, the other children escaped unhurt.

RWA president Bijendra Yadav said they had complained about the loose panel box to the electrical department SDO after which replacement work had started.
