Elderly couple commits suicide in UP

An elderly couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance in Antu area here, police said today.

Ram Kripal Mishra (80) and his wife Kasturi Devi (70) were found dead in their house at Raichandrapur village this morning, they said.

The couple had no child and were ill for past some time, they said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, they added.
