Elderly dies after being hit by school bus in northeast Delhi

A 60-year-old woman died on Friday after she was allegedly hit by a school bus in northeast Delhi's Seelampur area, police said.

The deceased was identified as Balwant Kaur, they said.

The incident occurred this morning at GT Road when the woman was returning home after meeting someone, they said.

The woman used to live with her family in Burari area, he said.

A case was registered, they said, adding the accused bus driver was arrested. Further investigation is underway, they said.
