Elderly man found dead near railway track

A 65-year-old man was found dead near railway track in Sahibabad area here this morning, police said.

SHO Sahibabad Upendra Yadav said that upon information police reached the spot and identified the elderly man as Kishan Chand, a native of Gurdaspur in Punjab.

Body has been sent for post-mortem, he said, adding, police is probing the case to ascertain the cause of the death.
