Elephant dies of bullet injuries

"The elephant died of wounds from two bullets four days ago at Baresand range of the Palamau Tiger Project (PTR). We suspect that the bullets might have hit the pachyderm during an encounter between naxalites and security personnel," DFO A K Mishra told reporters here.
