Eliminate female foeticide: Hr Gov

Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki today called upon people to join hands to completely eliminate the heinous practice of female foeticide from the society and save the girl child.

The Governor was addressing a mass marriage function, organised by Sri Jairam Vidhyapeeth and Shri Sara Devi charitable trust, in which marriage of 25 couples took place at Kurukshetra today.

Solanki also expressed concern over skewed sex ratio and said, "we should all focus on saving the girl child and improving the sex ratio".
