Emu near Red Fort draws curious onlookers

An emu was found roaming near the Red Fort on Tuesday, triggering a lot of curiosity among the locals, said a senior police officer.

The officer said the bird belongs to a resident of the area.

The owner of the emu said he had bought it from Ghazipur a few months ago, the officer said.

The emu has been sent to a veterinary hospital for check-up, he added.
