Government engineering college, Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), has asked for a fund of Rs 4 crore from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University for construction of its boundary wall.
HBTI Registrar, Naresh Kumar, today said that the institute doesn't have a boundary wall, leading to intrusion of outsiders. There is also lack of accommodation facility for the college faculties.
Thus, we have sought Rs 4 crore from the vice-chancellor of the Kalam varsity (formerly UP Tecnical University), Vinay Pathak. He has in-principle agreed to sanction the amount, Kumar said.
