Engineering, Medical entrance Exam result announced

Girls outshone boys in the Kerala Medical and Engineering Entrace Examinatioins results of which were announced today.

Out of the top ten ranks, girls cornered six. In overall medical rank list, girl candidates at 58,965 outnumbered boys 26,864.

A total of 75,258 candidates qualified for engineering admissions in the examinations held last month.

The Engineering rank list would be prepared after due process of standardisation in the second week of June, State Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb told reporters here.

In accordance with a directive of Supreme Court, the first phase of seat allotment for the courses would begin before June 30, he added.
