Farm equipment maker Escorts today reported a 10.1 per cent increase in total tractor sales in May at 5,331 units.
The company had sold 4,841 units in the same month of last year, Escorts Ltd said in a BSE filing.
Domestic tractor sales were at 5,252 units as against 4,741 units in May last year, up 10.8 per cent, it said.
Exports declined 21 per cent at 79 units in May this year as compared to 100 units in the year-ago month, it said.
