: The second edition of 'Agronova'14 for school and college students will be held at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University here from February 14.
Since the field of agriculture in India is passing through an era of Second Green Revolution, 'towards new revolution' has been chosen as the theme,which will be a leap towards the quest for innovative idea in agriculture scenario through Agronova, a TNAU release said.
The main objective of the two-day Agronova was to create awareness on agriculture among young generation,since it would serve as a platform to stage their talents and also learn about agriculture, it said.
The two-day contest will have many events separately for school level among city students and college level across the State, it said.
Events like working model, explore the rate, painting, presentation, English essay, school of hard knocks for school students and quiz, poster presentation,Tamil poems,documentary and 'please our ears' for college students would be held.
There would be an opportunity for the public to participate in the event of Tamil essay on the first day and Tamil debate on February 15, the release said.
