Former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today slipped during a public function, fracturing his left ankle.
Hooda was walking towards his vehicle after the function at a village in Palwal district, but he slipped and fell down, Congress MLA from Palwal, Karan Singh Dalal, said.
An X-Ray done by the doctors at Palwal revealed that he had fractured the ankle and was advised a bed rest of at least three weeks, Dalal said, adding Hooda will seek further medical advice from AIIMS hospital in Delhi.
Notably, Hooda was to start 'Jankranti Yatra' from Hodal in Palwal from February 25.
