Ex-Jharkhand minister turns in

Former Jharkhand Land and Revenue minister Dulal Bhuiyan today surrendered before a CBI court in connection with a case relating to disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs 1.3 crore.

The court of Akhil Kumar sent Bhuiyan to 14 days' judicial custody.

Bhuiyan, who was a minister in erstwhile Madhu Koda and Shibu Soren governments, faced a non-bailable arrest warrant in the case lodged by CBI in 2013.
