Ex-serviceman killed in mishap

: An ex-servicemen was killed on the spot here today when a private bus rammed onto the two wheeler he was riding near the Collector's bungalow, police said

They said the 56-year-old man was on his way for security duty when the mishap occurred, due to rash driving by the bus driver.

Irate members of the public pelted stones at the bus and broke its windscreens.

The bus driver and conducter fled the spot.
