Explosive powder, gelatine sticks seized

Forty kilograms of explosive powder and gelatine sticks were seized from a suspected Maoist in Jharkhand's Giridih district today.

The suspected Maoist, Ulfat Mian, was arrested near Buniatar village and explosives were seized from him, Superintendent of Police Kranti Kumar told reporters here.

"He has been informing about the movement of police to Maoists and supplying explosives to them," he said.
