Explosive substances seized in Mewat

Haryana Police today claimed to have seized 120 explosive substances and a bundle of detonator wire from a village in Mewat district of the state.

A woman has been arrested in this regard, police said.

Acting on a tip off, a police team found the explosives hidden in a box at Panchgaon village under Taoru police station in the Mewat district.

A case under various sections of Explosive Substance Act 1908 has been registered, said the police spokesman.
